It is nearing the end of the year now, just a week or
two to go. Announced today that British troops will finally be coming out
of Iraq in the forthcoming summer 2009. I am not sure what we have
achieved, but it has been costly for many of the troop families in
Plymouth.
Credit crunch here we come, gloom and doom forecast.
How did they get away with stealing all those billions and so little
comeback, amazing?
What else this year?
Bruce Forsyth has been resurrected from the dead for
strictly numb dancing. PerhapsI should take this up, get in shape a bit.
The issue of Incinerators came to the
fore. How little we seem to be able to do against a steamroller of
bureaucracy. We will state our case and have our say. Who knows?
Painting classes have gone well, but government funding
gets thinner and thinner. My classes could end up totally private this
next year.
A smattering of commissions has kept my own painting
going. I will never stop painting. It is the creative, experimentations
that so fascinate me.
