On a summers day the view from Agaton Road is breathtaking, with the ancient Palmerston Fort (Agaton Fort) commanding views of the Tamar and beautiful hills of Cornwall beyond as far as Caradon and Kit Hill. The land here rises to nearly 300 ft.
