Happy New Year!

Well it is nearly a new year again.. about 6 hrs away.

This time of year should be restful...replenishing of life's batteries? ..in the deep mid winter here in Britain. holiday time...we wish!

The trouble is that I am becoming a 'grumpy old man'. Well, that is the sort of label that fits snugly round the neck now of the wise and outspoken, who have something of an aversion to the following :

People who drive too fast and hug your bumper.

TV programme adverts that never use the word 'repeat' when the programme is a repeat.

Expensive Designer clothes

Increase of forms to fill in.

Paranoia about Insurance

Less trust of intrinsic talent, individuality.

Expensive, boring Minimalist fashion, furniture

Presents that are no use whatsoever

To many ..Television, radio, internet, press adverts.

Dumbed down media information.

Smoke in the wrong places

Politicians who just lie and lie... for the sake of some bigger picture they want.

Celebrity overkill

Chicklets...not sure what they are, but they sound awful

Reality television, scraping the barrel level.

Arms sales to countries, creating dangerous problems that later need unravelling.

Food Packaging that disguises amounts

Does he like anything.. you might say?.. Well, yes, probably the opposite of the statements above....more soon..  .any suggestions? ..artists that moan?
