My painting
instruction downloads are a new and helpful way to learn watercolour
painting.
I have worked
with beginners to painting for many years.
I started as a
qualified schoolteacher with children in a Special school for those that
teachers found impossible to teach to read and write and behave. For many
years I worked in a team visiting and advising parents and teachers. This
has taught me that people learn by building their skills gradually, step by
step and need loads of encouragement and patience.
Through avoiding
over-complicated subjects, and by working you through a carefully laid out
instructions, simple and specific, my worksheets are designed to help you to
create satisfying paintings almost instantly.

Each set consists
of instruction sheets to print out from your computer after downloading.
They guide you towards producing finished watercolour paintings. You do not
need to be an expert at drawing because every set contains a simple drawing
template for each of the step-by-step paintings included in the pack. See
the free snow painting you can achieve. Each set also contains clearly
illustrated instructions for all the basic techniques that you will need to
complete.
The painting
sheets are ideal for newcomers to watercolour, and for those wanting to
improve their technique. They are also the perfect present for anyone
interested in watercolour but who does not know where to begin.
Materials are
kept to a minimum. For example, you usually only need only three to six
colours and a few brushes. See my
materials list for my classes.
But this is just
a beginning. I hope these sheets will enable you to go on to develop your
own personal style and to create watercolour paintings that will capture
your own surroundings and experiences.
